  3. The following applies if you have not received the new password
  4. that went into effect 2/16/92.

  8. The password to access the dialer has changed!  You will need
  9. to leave mail to BOB.DANIEL with the subject of the mail as
  10. "IDOD PASSWORD REQUEST"  (3 words, all caps without the quotes).
  11. The body of the message can contain your comments, questions, 
  12. cussing, or whatever.  They will be stored and I intend to read all 
  13. of them and reply to all I can.

  16. I have written a script that will read mail with that subject
  17. and compare your GEnie mail address with a database of all
  18. IDOD registered users.  If it matches, the password will be
  19. automatically mailed to you.  If it doesn't match, it will let
  20. me know so that I can check it manually.  If there is no manual
  21. match, a message will be sent to you that I don't have a record
  22. of your registration.. we can handle it from there.

  24. I am expecting several hundred requests so I hope this script 
  25. works OK or I'm going to be REAL busy... if you don't get a reply in
  26. a couple days, it's because my script broke and I'm fixing it.

  28. I decided to do this rather than emailing all in the database to
  29. determine just how many users are still interested in IDOD.
  30. Please respond if you want your interest to count.

  32. All _new_ registered users will receive the password via email
  33. when I receive a shareware payment.  Please include your email
  34. address on the registration form.

  36. Thank you all who have registered!  IDOD has done much better
  37. than I anticipated and I have received numerous letters 
  38. encouraging continued updates.  Some have even registered more 
  39. than once.  These are some of the reasons that this version exists.
